American Airports Corporation’s President and Chairman, David G. Price, leads AAC with wisdom, experience and vision. He is the former owner of American Golf Corporation, a renowned leader in the golf course management business, which he built from a one-facility operation to a worldwide company with 320 facilities. Mr. Price has established AAC as a frontrunner in the airport management business, in the same manner as American Golf in the leisure industry.
AAC currently manages six airports, including five in Los Angeles County and the airport on the historic Sand Island in the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. The company handles over 1,650 tenants and sells more than 1.5 million gallons of retail fuel annually, including all of the fuel sold at the five Los Angeles County airports. AAC also operates a fixed base operation (FBO) at the Little Rock Airport / Adams Field (Supermarine), where it serves the corporate and general aviation needs.
With the implementation of world-class customer service, efficient and wisely run airport operations, quality people, the application of sound and practical business practices and a cohesive team of experts with a combined experience in the aviation industry totaling over 100 years, AAC is well positioned for continued growth and success.
AAC foresees a positive future for our business as corporations and individuals alike are increasingly opting for the added security and convenience that general aviation airports afford. We believe that by providing a safe, secure and progressive business environment at the airports and aviation facilities that we operate, AAC will be well positioned to continue to grow and provide quality support to airport and aviation property owners.
